Ronie Reives - A designer with humble roots in Baltimore, immediately after graduating from The Baltimore school for the Arts high school moved to NYC to follow his love for fashion. With little more than a mattress, a sewing machine and a dream. He enrolled, studied and dropped out of The Art Institute of NYC before finally pursuing his true goal of attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. After graduation Ronie worked for many other brands such as Helmut Lang, Marissa Webb, Aeropastale, and Theory to name a few. Designing and producing their collections for several seasons. In 2014 Ronie started his brand RebellionNYC with just a few custom pieces he created himself in his tiny Harlem apartment while still working in the fashion industry. Inspired by the bold colorful world around him, street style, Theater, culture, Drag Queens, New York City, Ballet and Travel, Ronie rolls all these elements together to produce something altogether uniquely Rebellious.
Also a guest lecturer at his alma mater F.I.T., an IMDB credited make up artist, an actor, wardrobe assistant, drag artist, podcaster and entrepreneur Ronie is defined as a multi-hyphenate multi-talented artist.
